Media fund the APX Group has taken a 50 per cent stake in Twickenham Film Studios, with plans to expand and to use the Twickenham Film Studios brand internationally.
Located in West London and established in 1913, Twickenham Film Studios has been making films for over 100 years. Alongside the studios, Twickenham offers post production and production solutions for feature films, TV series, documentaries, music videos and commercials
TFS has recently worked with Amazon features Thirteen Lives and My Policeman, Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, Amazon Prime’s series Ten Percent, and A Gaza Weekend.
At the end of last year, TFS appointed Andrew Boswell as joint managing director, joining property business expert Superna Sethi, also in the role of md.
The studio got the green light for a £15 revamp in late 2021 including an extension of approximately 19,000 sq ft across the site. TFS is also signed as the anchor tenant for the planned redevelopment of the Littlewoods Building site in Liverpool.
