Netflix has greenlit a new 6-part adaptation of Pride and Prejudice from Lookout Point penned by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love).
The series will be a “faithful, classic” adaptation of the novel directed by Euros Lyn (Heartstopper), going into production in the UK in 2025.
Emma Corrin (Nosferatu, Black Mirror) will star as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden (Slow Horses, Benediction) takes on the role of Mr Darcy and Olivia Colman (The Favourite, The Crown) will be Mrs Bennet.

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is the blueprint for romantic comedy – it has been a joy to delve back into its pages to find both familiar and fresh ways of bringing this beloved book to life. With Euros Lyn directing our stellar cast, I am so excited to reintroduce these hilarious and complicated characters to those who count Pride and Prejudice as their favourite book, and those who are yet to meet their Lizzie and Mr Darcy.”
