Channel 5 has ordered new 2 x 60’ series , Hot Tub Brits, a from Banijay-owned Definitely Productions.
The show “takes a peek under the cover of Britain’s outdoor obsession, exploring the remarkable rise of hot tubs.”
In the series, Channel 5 is “plunging into the world of hot tubs all around the UK, meeting the quirky, characterful and bubbly Brits who build, buy, sell, and soak in this must-have item.”
Commissioning Editor Kit Morey said: “Hot tubs have never been more popular in the UK and after what’s been a difficult year for most and foreign holidays still looking a distant dream, it’s not surprising more and more of us are looking for ways to relax and unwind in our own back yards. It’s a quirky but compelling subject matter that explores a world of excess and ridiculousness but also aspiration and attainability, I can’t wait for our viewers to dive in!”

Hot Tub Brits (2 x 60’) was commissioned by Kit Morey and will be executive produced by Rachel Arnold and Jon Green at Definitely Productions.
