Chef Jeremy Pang is returning to ITV for “a culinary adventure through the streets of Hong Kong” in a new six-part series, created in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Produced by Banijay UK’s Electric Robin, Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen will broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturdays in March.
In each episode, he will b e joined by a celebrity guest who has never visited Hong Kong including presenter, actress and writer Mel Giedroyc; television presenter and chef Simon Rimmer; food critic Grace Dent; TV personality Tom Skinner; television presenter Chris Bavin; plus cook and author Nisha Katona.
Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen will delve “into the heart of Cantonese culture and its gastronomy” and meet the people “who have played a key part in shaping Hong Kong’s gastronomical landscape.”
Jeremy Pang said: “Hong Kong Kitchen isn’t just a new food programme, it has been a personal dream to present a show in the city that was essentially my second home when growing up. Having the opportunity to show the world the true colours of Hong Kong has been so much fun. I felt so honoured to host the celebrity guests who joined me on the adventure; each of whom I really shared personal moments with and created memories that will stay with me forever.“
