Studio RM is “expanding its footprint in the advertising world” with the addition of Senior Colourist Jack McGinity and Executive Producer Mike Coley.

McGinity joins from Harbor Picture Company, with prior roles at Cheat, Time Based Arts, and Rushes.

McGinity’s recent BAFTA-nominated projects include Sienna Miller-backed Marion (2025, OB42/Solab) with directors Joe Weiland & Finn Constantine and DoP Harry Wheeler, Rye Lane (2023, Searchlight) with director Raine Allen-Miller and DoP Olan Collardy, and Such Brave Girls (2023, BBC Three) with director Simon Bird and DoP Ed Tucker.

On joining Studio RM, McGinity says: “Studio RM’s commitment to craftsmanship and collaboration aligns perfectly with how I work. Their reputation for elevating visuals through colour, across disciplines makes this an exciting opportunity to refine and expand my approach for brands that want to stand out.”

Joining McGinity is Executive Producer Mike Coley, who has worked alongside him at Cheat for many years.

“Studio RM’s considered approach to colour and new business is unique within the UK market,” said Coley. “Their emphasis on quality and artistic integrity resonates deeply with both Jack and me. Together, we aim to build meaningful relationships while delivering work of the highest calibre.”

Studio RM, founded in 2010, has a global roster that includes colourists Myles Bevan and Jamie Noble, and recent signing Jules Wileman from Absolute.
