News agency Reuters is reporting that ITV is in “early stage” talks with All3Media owner, RedBird IMI to merge the two companies’ production businesses.

Reuters is reporting that its sources say the talks are at a very early stage “and may not lead to any transaction.”

ITV PLC released a statement to its shareholders back in mid 2023 confirming that it was “actively exploring” an acquisition of superindie, All3Media from its then owners Warner Bros Discovery and Liberty Global.

IYV Studios has 60 labels in 12 countries and All3Media’s production businesses have produced recent hits including The Traitors, that has 30 versions and was the world’s top format last year; Life On Our Planet, Squid Game: The Challenge, Keanu Reeves-fronted Emmy award winning documentary Brawn: The Impossible F1 Story for Disney+ and returning brands such as Midsomer Murders; Call the Midwife; Gogglebox; Lingo and Race Across the World.
