ITV has confirmed its slate of new and returning reality TV commissions for 2025.
The Only Way Is Essex produced by Objective Entertainment, part of All3Media’s Objective Media Group, will mark fifteen years on screen with two new series confirmed to air in 2025.
Alongside it, some of the show’s biggest former stars will “celebrate their own big life moments” with a spin off series featuring Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou (show title TBC), who first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014 as they finally say ‘I Do’ in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment following on from their Baby Steps series.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire reaches a decade on screens in 2025. The new series will see a host of old faces returning to the show “for another dose of drama and fabulous glamour.”
One of the show’s longest standing housewives Tanya Bardsley, will also be at the centre of new reality format The Bardsley Bunch. The six-part series follows the multi-generational household of Tanya, husband Phil, four kids Gabriella, Rocco, Renz and Ralphi, grandparents Julie and Steve, and Great Nana Irene. Both The Real Housewives of Cheshire and The Bardsley Bunch are produced by Monkey, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions at ITV, said “We are delighted to be celebrating two of our longest running reality franchises as they enter exciting milestone years, whilst also expanding both series, following the ever popular Tommy and Georgia and Tanya Bardsley as they embark upon new chapters.”
