ITV to host TV's first election leaders debate

ITV has confirmed that it will host the first TV leaders debate in the run up to the general election in July.

The event, to be held at nine pm on Tuesday next week, will see Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Sir Kier Starmer go head to head.

The hour long production will be anchored by Julie Etchingham and hosted by dock10 in Manchester.
