Brighton-based indie, Middlechild Productions, has announced a new YouTube channel presented by Alan Titchmarsh.
The channel, “Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh” launching in April 2025 will “celebrate Alan’s horticultural legacy while providing a platform for a wealth of tips and ideas.”
The weekly YouTube episodes will offer viewers a mix of ‘how-to videos’, informative tips, specific masterclasses and advice from Alan.
The videos will be published simultaneously on newly created YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts. The ambition is to reach a “broad spectrum of gardeners from first time novices to experienced gardeners from around the UK and globally.” The series will also have the potential for brand tie-ins and product placements.
Alan Titchmarsh said: “I’d never have guessed that I would become a 75-year-old influencer and be hosting on the world’s biggest streaming platform. I’ve been gardening for more than 60 years, and this is the perfect place to pass on that knowledge to an international audience of all ages. YouTube has become the go to platform for people wanting to learn new skills so where better for me to inspire new gardeners and help experienced gardeners hone their skills”
David Sumnall, Founder and CEO, Middlechild Productions said: “This will be Middlechild’s first YouTube project and we couldn’t be more excited to be working alongside a broadcasting legend in this new venture.”
“Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh” will be Executive Produced by David Sumnall and Matt Young.
