All3Media International has announced live expansions of two of the group’s hit shows

Bentley Productions’ Midsomer Murders is to be adapted for the stage and Race Across the World will be transformed into a playable experience in London.

For the first time, Inspector Barnaby and his sidekick, Sergeant Troy, will take to the stage in Guy Unsworth’s adaptation of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift, based on the book by Caroline Graham, The Killings at Badger’s Drift, and the TV series Midsomer Murders.

The tour will open at Richmond Theatre on 24 October and will tour through to April 2026.  The tour is produced by Nicholson Green Productions Ltd and Colin Ingram Ltd.

Caroline Graham said of Guy Unsworth’s adaptation for the stage:  “It’s fast paced and witty, and has everything an audience wants: bizarre murders and a beautiful setting. I am delighted to be a part of it and to see The Killings at Badger’s Drift on the stage. ”

All3Media International’s Rachel Glaister, said of the announcement of the stage version: “We’re delighted that Midsomer Murders, the detective drama that continues to delight TV audiences around the world, can now also delight theatre fans with this new production from Nicholson Green Productions.  We wish the producer a successful launch tour this autumn in the UK – and are sure that fans from the UK and visitors from abroad alike will embrace this wonderful opportunity to see Inspector Barnaby in action!”

Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift will be directed by Guy Unsworth, with design by David Woodhead, lighting design by Matt Haskins, sound design by Ella Wahlström and casting by Ginny Schiller CDG.

Studio Lambert’s Race Across the World will be turned into a ‘playable experience’ by CityDays in London this Spring.

This experience will offer players the chance to live out Race Across the World by navigating the streets of London, working as a team, outwitting their competitors, and unlocking hidden secrets of the city in a race to the finish line.

Just like in the show, players will be given a budget to manage as they race through the city. This budget can be spent on valuable clues to help navigate the next leg of the journey. Players will be scored based on their time and how much budget they have left, with their final score ranked on a live leaderboard throughout the day and week.

The team that completes the challenge in the fastest time with the most budget remaining will earn a shot at being crowned the daily or weekly champions.

The race takes participants on a 4-5 km mission through the capital, typically spanning 2-3 hours. Players will pass through key partner venues, including renowned pubs, cultural hotspots, or famous landmarks, each serving as a ‘checkpoint’ where teams must solve escape room-style puzzles. These puzzles will guide them toward the next leg of the race, offering clues that unveil new parts of the city, “all while providing a true taste of London’s hidden gems.”

Tom Rymer, Founder of CityDays, said: “We are beyond excited to bring the Race Across The World experience to life in London. It’s a dream come true for fans of the show, offering them the chance to dive into the heart-pounding action and strategy that has made the show a hit. What makes this experience truly special is the unique combination of exploring London’s hidden spots while working together in a race against time. We can’t wait to see who comes out on top!”

All3Media said: “It’s thrilling to be able to bring this iconic TV show from Studio Lambert to life in one of the most vibrant and culturally rich cities in the world. We’re beyond excited to partner with CityDays, true pioneers in urban adventures, making them the perfect team to turn this unforgettable experience into a reality. Together, we’re giving fans the chance to immerse themselves in the heart-pounding action of Race Across The World, and it’s going to be nothing short of spectacular!”

The London version of Race Across The World: The Experience is created by CityDays under license from All3Media International on behalf of the creators and producers of the show Studio Lambert.

All3Media International handle format and licensing rights for the Race Across The World throughout the rest of the world.
