CVP is hosting a fundraiser tonight for the Mark Milsome Foundation called Prints For Mark: An Evening With The Mark Milsome Foundation with Dan Donovan.
For the fourth consecutive year, Andra Milsome, along with Mark Purvis from Mission have supported the Mark Milsome Foundation in releasing a calendar – Prints for Mark.
The Foundation and Prints for Mark raises funds for young people, crews, and productions in honour of Mark Milsome, who was tragically killed whilst filming a car stunt in Ghana on the 18th of November 2017.
Inspired by the achievements, character and unique nature of Mark, and in view of the circumstances that surrounded Mark’s death, the foundation is determined to promote modern health and safety practices on set, in a way that best serves the film and television industry and the memory of Mark Milsome.
Their ultimate aim is to try and ensure that there isn’t a repeat of more tragic incidents such as this.
The evening will showcase the stunning pictures from this year’s calendar, selected from submissions by an esteemed collection of DOPs, shown to a custom soundscape by Dan Donovan. Dan is a composer, keyboard player, remixer, and photographer, and was a founding member of the bands Big Audio Dynamite and Dreadzone.
There will be a selection of nibbles, along with drinks very kindly provided by The Westbourne pub based in Notting Hill.
The event is at 89 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 6RN from 18:00 to 21:00 at CVP Fitzrovia and tickets are free
