RAW has hired Sam Gordon to join its features team, working as a producer/executive producer.

He joins the All3Media company as it ramps up its features and scripted output. As well as the upcoming feature title Crime 101 for Amazon MGM Studios (with Working Title and directed by Bart Layton), RAW’s features to date have included American Animals, Three Identical Strangers, The Imposter, Encounter and Dream Horse.

Gordon’s experience includes roles at Baby Cow, Calamity Films and Magnolia Mae, as well as BBC Film. Most recently he was a development producer at Brouhaha Entertainment where he worked on 2024 feature Firebrand and co-produced Karim Ainouz’s Motel Destino, which launched at Official Competition at Cannes this year.  His credits also include the four-time Academy Award nominated Philomena (2013), Oscar-winning Judy (2019) and Benediction (2021).

He will report into CCO Dimitri Doganis and CEO Joely Fether, working with filmmakers Bart Layton and Tim Wardle, as well as Head of Scripted TV Sara Murray and RAW’s senior creative team.

Dimitri Doganis says: “Having collaborated with Sam during his time at BBC Film, I’m delighted to welcome him to the team at RAW as we continue to grow our ambitions in the film and scripted space.  It’s an incredibly exciting time for us and Sam’s experience and energy will be a perfect fit”.

Sam Gordon says: “RAW has long been a trailblazer and is home to some of the most exciting filmmakers in the UK today; with their in-house talent, unique access to IP and impeccable taste, the possibilities really are limitless”.
