ITV1 and ITVX have commissioned Rock Oyster Media for a new 22 x 60’ series of Jimmy & Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast, doubling the run of its first 11-part outing in Summer 2024.
The new series will become a weekend fixture from April through to September this year.
With hosts Jimmy Doherty and Shivi Ramoutar back at the helm, and once again shot on location at Jimmy’s own farm and wildlife park, the new series continues with a mix of food and drink, crafts, lifestyle and animals, plus celeb guests also dropping in.
The series has been commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime ITV and Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner Entertainment & Daytime ITV.
Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner, Entertainment & Daytime ITV said: “We’re so excited to welcome back these two great presenters to the weekend morning schedule over Spring and Summer this year. Jimmy and Shivi won us over in series one with their warmth, wit and enthusiasm, and with such a broad range of subjects and guests, FarmhouseBreakfast really does have something for everyone… a brilliant way to kick off a Saturday morning!”.
David Nottage, MD of Plymouth-based indie Rock Oyster said: “We’re so proud of this show with its lively, knockabout style and real ‘anything could happen’ vibe. I t’s an affectionate nod to some of the great breakfast shows of the past, but brought right up to date with food, drink, guests and stories that speak to the things we all love to do right now. It’s a really wholesome dose of fresh air and fun.”
Jimmy & Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast airs weekly for 22 weeks, weekends from April.
