Sohonet, provider of collaboration solutions and connectivity for the media and entertainment industry, and Bind Studio, a specialist in visual effects production technology, are forming a partnership that brings together Sohonet’s FileRunner and ClearView Flex with Bind Studio’s platform, to deliver a solution for VFX teams to collaborate.
Designed to meet the need for speed and security in the VFX industry, Bind Studio has integrated Sohonet’s FileRunner into its software platform. FileRunner will serve as the file transport engine—moving files securely and quickly between users throughout the VFX workflow.
Bind Studio’s cloud-native platform, powered by AWS, combines with the newly virtualised version of Sohonet’s real-time review platform, ClearView Flex. This integration enables remote teams to conduct high-quality colour and frame accurate VFX reviews quickly.
