Sunset+Vine is to produce and stream a companion show to this year’s Booker Prize event.

The live stream will be presented by popular book enthusiast and YouTuber Jack Edwards, and will be available to watch on The Booker Prize YouTube page, as well as Jack’s own account, from 9pm on Sunday 26th November.

Edwards will kick off the show speaking to attendees on the red carpet, before discussing the nominations with special guests and culminating in the announcement of the Booker Prize 2023 winner.

Sunset+Vine will also be working with Booker Prizes’ team on a coordinated social content strategy to maximise impact on other platforms, as well as creating bespoke content for the event.

Raj Mannick, Head of Digital at Sunset+Vine, commented: “The Booker Prize is the pinnacle of fiction writing and we’re delighted to partner with them to engage a new generation of literature fans. Our unparalleled experience in live sport coverage and creating social content for some of the world’s biggest brands will allow us to bring a fresh approach to help the Booker Prize reach new audiences and grow an already engrossed community.”

Paul Davies, Head of Editorial at the Booker Prize Foundation, added: “We’re so excited to be working with Sunset+Vine on an ambitious and entertaining live companion programme to this year’s Booker Prize ceremony. With Sunset+Vine’s unparalleled experience in producing live coverage of the world’s biggest events, and with Jack Edwards’ huge following on YouTube, we can’t wait to bring this year’s winner announcement to the widest possible audience of book lovers.”
