Televisual’s 2025 Commercials 30 survey has now been published in the Spring edition of Televisual Magazine.

Production house Smuggler has made it to the number one spot this year in the annual Commercials 30 survey, Televisual’s exclusive survey of the commercials production sector that’s now been running since 1993.

Smuggler claimed the podium on the back of stand out work like Never Just a Period  for Libresse; 40 Years of Christmas for Vodafone; Lucy Forbes’ two-part ‘whodunnit’ Christmas campaign for Waitrose and C Prinz’s campaign ‘Dream Together’ for ON.

Riff Raff Films came in second, with Love Song in third place.

Love Song took the number one spot in the Peer Poll in which the rival production companies vote for the peers they most admire. Biscuit was second with Riff Raff and Smuggler placing joint third.

Commercials producers also vote for their favourite directors, ads, agencies, post houses, editors and colourists as part of the survey.

KFC’s Believe in Chicken from Business Club was the favourite piece of work and Elliott Power was voted the industry’s favourite director.

Paul Watts at The Quarry was voted the sector’s favourite editor, while ETC’s Luke Morrison was again the favourite colourist.

Mother was voted top agency by the commercials producers and Electric Theatre Collective was rated as the best post house for another year.
