Eddie Evelyn-Hall, former Director of Development at Ricochet TV, has joined Tuesday’s Child as Head of Development.

Taking up the position in January, Evelyn-Hall will be leading the development teams for both Tuesday’s Child and Tuesday’s Child Scotland (based in Glasgow), in building on the format specialists’ range of non-scripted series including UK and international primetime reality shows like The Fortune Hotel (ITV1); shiny floor entertainment shows like The Hit List (BBC ONE), competitive formats like LEGO Masters (currently licenced in 22 territories) and comedy entertainment formats like Guessable? (Comedy Central).

Reporting into Tuesday’s Child’s CEO Karen Smith and Creative Director, Steph Harris, Evelyn-Hall has held positions at BBC Studios as Head of Development, Ents & Music; Monkey Kingdom as Head of Development; worked in the development departments of Whizz Kid and Syco Entertainment and in various producer roles across multiple ents and format shows.

Evelyn-Hall has been responsible for developing numerous hits across traditional and streaming broadcasters, including Elton John: Uncensored (BBC ONE), I Like The Way You Move (BBC Three), The Bi Life (E!), Don’t Hate The Playaz (ITV), The Courtney Act Show (C4) and Toy Hospital (Channel 5), as well as branded content including The Big Picture (Amazon Prime Video)

Evelyn-Hall said: “I’ve always been very envious of the shows Tuesday’s Child have created so I’m thrilled to be joining the company at such an exciting time and to get the ball rolling on creating even more wonderful shows and contribute to their amazing legacy.”

Harris added: “We are very excited to welcome Eddie to the team. We have a stable of well established, successful hit formats but we are looking forward to him taking the development reins and leading the teams in London and in Glasgow to the next level. In a challenging industry landscape where innovation and new thinking are key to unlocking success, in Eddie we have someone who is brilliantly creative across the entertainment and reality spectrum and so well connected, I can’t wait to see what we can dream up together!”
